![]() To connect the adapter – However double PC display on task bar still states I do not have a connection. – Tried to update driver – The best driver for your device is already installed – At this point in went back to Control Panel – did an uninstall of Linksys wireless adapter – after finishing I restarted the PC – Inserted the Install CD – after install directed I shut down the computer for the night and at the next boot in the morning, no internet. The adapter was running perfectly, I had internet and all. I installed the driver and software and hooked up the adapter, no problems. I checked to see that my adapter was plugged in – It was – Step by step I tried to open the wireless connection – None shown – Tried to do a repair – No dice – Went into Control Panel – Device Manager – Network Adapters – It showed the Linksys adapter - posted in Networking: I just purchased a Linksys WUSB54G adapter from eBay. On the lower right taskbar where the double displays are it said I had no connection. However a week ago when I tried to open an IE browser I was unable to do so. I have been using a Linksys WUSB54G wireless adapter for 6 months without a problem. I am running Windows Vista 32 bit Home Premium.
